The automotive industry is going through a phase of disruption and innovation. Highly tech savvy drivers are looking for more from their vehicles and more from their navigation & infotainment systems. The opportunities for manufacturers and providers in the space is huge. Here are in a prime position in the market to provide the experiences drives are demanding. For 4 months I was part of the Automotive design team.

Here understand that the future of navigation is about more than just getting from A to B. Navigation should be personal and useful throughout the day, inside and outside of the vehicle. It should understand the driver as an individual, anticipating their needs where appropriate. It should provide information in a timely manner and in a way that does not distract them. Instead it should keep them more informed, safer, more efficient and make driving more enjoyable.

My work took all this into account. Researching and benchmarking existing experiences. Wire-framing concepts and documenting complex experience logic. All the work is under an NDA and can’t be shared here, but if you would like to know more please get in touch and we can talk through it.
